Aviation enthusiast, I am currently a First Officer on the Airbus 320 family, flying on the medium haul. I am a glider pilot as well, and I fly with the French Team in the Alps and around Europe (around the world soon ?). Eager to improve my skills every single flight, my goal is to grab podiums with the French Team.
I passed my Sailplane Pilot License in June 2011 and then experienced my first regional competition in a two-seater glider with my Flight Instructor the following month. To my great astonishment, we won ! From then on, I competed to some regional and national competitions.
My first solo win happened in August 2012 during the Junior French Nationals. A month later, I moved out to the south of France to train with the Junior Team at St Auban. After a busy year (in 2013), where I learnt how to fly safely in mountaineous areas, I went back to a greater level in 2014 and won my second Junior French Gliding Championship.
Following that event, I have been selected to compete with the Senior Team to the 1st FAI World Gliding Championship in '13.5m' class, in Pociunai - Lithuania. We grabbed the second place on the team ranking while I was ranked individually in the 4th place thanks to a win on the last but one task.
I competed in 2016 at the World Gliding Championship in Pociunai again, but that time in "club" class. The result was sensational for the french team, as we won the Team Cup. Individually ranked 6th out of 50 pilots, I still have a lot to do, to catch an international podium. Great experience !!
My next goal is to get selected for the Worlds that will take place in France next year.
